Steps to Create this Activity

Step-01

To create card, take a sheet of kite paper, draw and cut out 2 circles measuring diameter up to 3” approx.

Step-02

Similarly, take white chart paper, draw and cut out 2 circles one measuring its diameter up to 3” and other up to 2” approx.

Step-03

Now Cut out 2 tiny strips measuring 2” approx. And fold it as shown .

Step-04

To create card holder, take the bigger circle and stick the strips on the edge of the circle on both the sides using Fevisitk and let it dry.

Step-05

Using Fevistik, stick coloured circles onto chart paper as shown creating it into a card.

Step-06

To create petals, take any 2 coloured kite papers of your choice, cut 10 – 15 petals measuring 2x1 “Approx. Using Rangeela Tempera colours of your choice, finger dab colour onto the petals as shown and let it dry.

Step-07

To create cupped shape of the petals, give a small slit in the centre below. Now using Fevistik, overlap one edge to the other as shown and let it dry.

Step-08

Using Fevistik , stick petals onto the outward edge of the circle continuing inwards. To create pollens, take kite paper cut them into pieces and crumble them and stick it in the centre as shown and let it dry.

Now using Felt pen write text Wishes for the most colourful Holi of all time. Handmade card is ready!
