Make a Ganpati Car Holder for Ganesh Chaturthi

Make Ganesh figurine with tissue mache using fevicol MR

Step - 01

To create a Ganesha Figurine, start by creating a tissue Mache. Take some tissue paper & tear it into tiny pieces, put it in a bowl, and add some water to it until the paper is completely soaked. Squeeze out the excess water and add some Fevicol MR to it. Mix it well until it turns out like dough. Take an OHP sheet, and with the help of your hands, create a Ganesha Figurine referring to the image I.e. mukut, face, ears, trunk, torso & jewelry as shown in the image, and let it dry, make sure to create the figurine with a height of 4” approximately.

Let Ganesh figurine dry & assemble parts using fevicol MR.

Step - 02

Once dried, peel off the features from the OHP sheet. Using Fevicol MR, assemble the parts as shown and let them dry.

Color the  figurine using rangeela tempera, give details to the face, trunk, and mukut.

Using Rangeela Tempera Colours of your choice, paint the figurine and give details to the face, trunk, and mukut with the help of paint brushes and let it dry

Use the corrugated sheet to make a car holder shape, and create a backdrop using a template.

To create a car holder structure, take a corrugated sheet & draw the diagram referring to the template given. Similarly, to create a backdrop take a colored foam sheet & draw the diagram referring to the template given.

Cut the figurine of lord Ganesha's car holder using scissors

Step - 05

Cut them with scissors.

Use fevicol MR to assemble the figurine of lord Ganesh for the car holder

Step - 06

Using Fevicol MR, assemble the cutouts as shown and let it dry.

Use a felt sheet to cover the cardholder using fevicol MR, and let it dry.

Step - 07

With the help of Felt sheet of your choice cover the car holder structure using Fevicol MR and let it dry.

Use fevicol MR to assemble the Ganesha figurine and backdrop. The Ganesha car holder is ready

Step - 08

Using Fevicol MR, assemble the elements as shown onto the car holder structure I.e., backdrop & Ganesha Figurine. Your handmade Ganesha car holder is ready!
