Step - 01
To create a trinket base, take an A4 size corrugated sheet.

Step - 02
Draw and cut an oval shape out of it.

Step - 03
Cover the base, with a corrugated strip with width 4” approx. And stick it on the edge using Fevicol A+.

Step - 04
Take a black chart paper and cover the sides using Fevicol A+ as shown in the image.

Step - 05
To create the lid, take some newspapers and create a dome-like structure in an oval shape (same size as the trinket). Now wrap a plastic around it using Fevicol Glue Drops.

Step - 06
To create the trinket lid, we have to make tissue mâché. Take a bowl and add pieces of some tissue papers in it, some water and Fevicol A+. Mix it well until it becomes like dough. Make sure the tissue paper mâché is fine enough, as shown in the image.

Step - 07
Apply a layer over the oval structure made and let it dry.

Step - 08
Once dried, peel off the structure. Using Rangeela Tempera Colour, paint the structure with Fine Art brushes and let it dry.

Step - 09
To create tortoise scales, take brown coloured shades of chart papers. Referring to the template given, draw the diagram with a pencil.

Step - 10
Cut them with scissors.

Step - 11
Using Fevicol A+, stick the cut-outs in a descending manner as shown and let it dry.

Step - 12
Following the same procedure. Create the tortoise shell, stick it over the oval structure and let it dry.

Step - 13
Your personalised handmade tortoise shell trinket is ready!
