Wearing My Art – Creative Identity & Art Style Craft Activity for Kids - Activity Single - FeviCreate
Wearing My Art
Art is one of the ways people express their identity, feelings and the way they see the world. Through learning about different artistic styles, students explore how personal expression can take many forms, just like the clothes we wear. By decorating sweater cut-outs in 3–4 famous art styles, students reflect on how creativity is a part of who we are.

1. Discuss Identity & Expression
Begin with a conversation: What you wear sometimes shows how you feel. Art does the same thing.
2. Explore One Style at a Time
Students will decorate sweaters in 3-4 different art styles (Pointillism, Impressionism, Cubism).
3. Label, Reflect & Display
Students label each sweater with the art style name. On the back, they write reflections. String sweaters on a clothesline across the wall.
