Steps to Create this Activity

Prepare the Turtle Pieces

Draw and cut a large circle for the turtle shell on a thick white sheet. Sketch and cut the turtle's head, four legs, and three square number boxes from white chart paper.

Paint the Turtle

Paint the turtle shell, head, legs, and number box borders using Rangeela Tempera Pastel Colours. Allow all the pieces to dry completely.

Create the Reusable Number Boxes

Cut three matching squares from the transparent acetate sheet (OHP sheet). Stick each OHP sheet along the border of a paper square using Fevicol Glue Drops, leaving the centre free to create reusable writing spaces.

Assemble the Turtle

Stick the turtle's head and legs around the shell using Fevicol Glue Drops. Fix the assembled turtle onto a thick white sheet.

Complete the Learning Board

Stick the prepared number boxes below the turtle using Fevicol Glue Drops. Write the division symbol (÷) and equals sign (=) between the boxes, and add the title "Turtle Division" at the top.
