Step - 01

Take some tissue papers and cut them into small pieces.

Step - 02

To make tissue paper mache pulp, take a bowl and make a mixture of tissue paper pieces and Fevicol MR; make sure to mix it well until you get thick glue-like consistency. Add a bit of its water if it's too thick.

Step - 03

To create the paper weight of a Santa, take an a6 size gateway sheet and draw the diagram of Santa's face referring to the template given. Take an OHP sheet, cut out 2 A6 size rectangles place it onto the gateway sheet to create features of Santa and use other OHP cuts to construct Santa's face. With the help of your hands, make a contour structure of Santa's face, as shown in the image.

Step - 04

Similarly, following the same procedure create other features of Santa's face, I.e., eyes, nose, mustache and eyebrows.

Step - 05

Once the features are semi-dried, assemble all components using Fevicol MR and let them dry. Apply a layer of Fevicol MR once the features are assembled and let it dry.

Step - 06

Using Rangeela Tempera Colours of your choice, paint it with the help of paint brushes and let it dry. Now peel the structure from the OHP sheet. The handcrafted paperweight is ready!
