Step -1

Procure the base - Let us make a sparkling moon hanging for the festival of Eid. Start by assembling a hard, corrugated sheet.

Step - 2

Draw the design - Take a pencil and draw the shape of the moon on the sheet.

Step - 3

Paint the base - Take scissors and cut the outline of the moon. Take Fevicryl Acrylic Colours and paint the base grey colour. To make it a grey colour, mix Fevicryl acrylic white and black colours. Quick Tip: It is always better to mix the darker colour into the lighter colour! Paint evenly all over the surface. Let it dry.

Step - 4

Prepare the clay - Take Fevicryl Mouldit, mix resin and hardener in equal quantity and make an even dough. Roll the dough on a plain surface evenly. Cut them into triangular shaped chips. Let it dry to get harder.

Step - 5

Paint the clay - Take the Fevicryl Acrylic Pearl Metallic Colours and paint the clay chips with Silver 351, Gold 352, Copper 353, and Bronze 355. Let it dry.

Step - 6

Stick the pieces - Take the painted base of the moon and start sticking the Mouldit chips on it using Fevicol MR. Let it dry. Take the white coloured silk ribbon and stick it at the back of the moon using Fevicol MR. Cut and stick it to hang the moon on the wall.

Step - 7

Final Look - This is how your sparkling moon will look; you can hang it to make your walls look aesthetically pleasing.
