Score the crease and fold the paper to make the box structure. Now, stick the square cutouts by using Fevicol MR on each visible side of the box. Prick a hole in the middle of the strip inside the box to attach the rubber band for pop-up effect. Note that the paper doesn’t tear apart, and you stretch the rubber band. Ensure that the rubber band is tied rightly so that the paper doesn’t shrink or compress. Repeat the same process for each cube box. Fold and stick the pieces of the corrugated sheet to make the box. Refer to the image.
Step - 05
Since the four sides of the boxes are empty, you can stick any photograph of your sibling. You can also write down some quirky words on the sides using Rangeela Tempera Colours. Paint the cardboard box with Black Rangeela Tempera Colour. Let it dry. Then paint the top of the box with a Raksha Bandhan wish. Let all of it dry. Refer to the image.
