Start with Your Candy Stick

Take a clean candy stick. This will become your bookmark base. Make sure it is dry and free from dust before you begin.

Pick Your Earth Buddy

Choose the animal you want to create, like a sheep, bird, or panda. Pick a pencil and draw it on the coloured sheet.

Assemble the strips

Select coloured quilling strips that match your design.

Roll the Quilling Strips

Cut the shape of the animal out using scissors. Gently, roll the strips into tight circles using your fingers or a quilling tool. Secure the end neatly so the roll stays in place. You can also stick to the ends with Fevicol Glue Drops.

Shape Your Rolls

Lightly press the rolled circles to form shapes like teardrops, ovals, or spirals. These shapes will become the body, wings, ears, or fluffy fur.

Stick with Fevicol Glue Drops

Stick the quilled animal, using Fevicol Glue Drops, onto the candy sticks.

Add Final Details

Complete your bookmark by adding small paper details like eyes, beaks, or feet. Let everything set properly. Your Earth Day bookmark is ready to use!
