Steps to Create this Activity

Step - 01

Take a chart paper and some quilling strips

Step - 02

Draw a cloud of a palm size on the chart paper and write the word 'PRE' inside the cloud (Any prefix of your choice) .Take two quilling strips and write the words 'cook','verb','bake' and 'face' on it (The root word will change according to the prefix)

Step - 03

With the help of the Fevicryl 3D Neon Liner, outline the borders of the cloud .Rewrite the word 'pre' with Fevicryl Liquid Embroidery silver and let it dry

Step - 04

After they are dried, cut out the cloud template and stick the quilling strips on the back side of the cloud with Fevicol MR in such a way that the root word can be read along with the prefix .If the cloud accommodates only 4-5 strips and they have more root words, the children can make another cloud of the same prefix

Step - 05

Repeat the same steps for the other cloud prefixes

Step - 06

After preparing several prefix clouds, stick these clouds on a larger A3 sheet . Write the heading as 'PREFIX' and outline it with Fevicryl 3D Neon liner of your choice
