Cut the Chart Paper

Draw and cut two large circles from light green chart paper, one red circle, and one slightly larger white circle. Cut one of the green circles to create the opening for the sliding watermelon slice.

Cut the Strips

Cut wavy strips from dark green chart paper and stick them around the edge of the full green circle using Fevicol MR to create the watermelon rind.

Stick the Base

Stick the white circle behind the red circle using Fevicol MR. Use YUDU Colour Pencils to colour the watermelon seeds and add light shading to the fruit.

Stick the Layers

Place the decorated watermelon slice behind the cut green cover and stick the layers together using Fevicol MR, making sure the slice can slide in and out easily.

Fix the Candy Stick

Stick the wooden ice cream stick to the back of the watermelon using Fevicol MR and allow it to dry completely before moving it.

Try the Slide

Gently slide the watermelon slice in and out to check that it moves smoothly. Make small adjustments if needed before the glue dries completely.
