Steps to Create this Activity

To Create the Sugarcane, Take some Paper Straws

Step - 01

To create sugarcane, take some paper straws.

Wrap the Brown Quilling Strip to the Paper Straw with Glue Drops.

Step - 02

Take brown colored quilling strip wrap it around the paper straw using Glue Drops. Now attach a jute cord at certain distance as shown in the image.

Take Green Coloured Shades Chart Paper and Make Sugarcane Leaves

Step - 03

Take green-coloured shades chart papers, draw & cut out sugarcane leaves proportionate to the straw.

Stick Straw Paper and Sugarcane leaves Using Fevistik

Step - 04

Using Glue Drops, stick the cutouts as shown to the structure

Similarly, following the same procedure create multiple sugarcanes.

Create the Polaroid Frames on the Chart Paper

Step - 06

To create polaroids frames take coloured chart paper of your choice, draw rectangles proportionate to sugarcane strcture.

Cut them with Scissors and create the border with Golden Craft Paper

Cut them with scissors. Take gold craft paper, draw and cut out a frame and stick it onto the rectangles .

Handmade Pongal Bunting is Ready

To create a bunting holder, take any cord, tie a knot at the edge, insert a bead, and tie another knot. Now, insert the sugarcane structure as shown in the image. Similarly, create a bunting. Using Glue Drops, stick Polaroid frames over the sugarcane structure. Your handmade Pongal bunting is ready!
