Prepare the Kite Base
Cut a large kite shape from a thick cardboard sheet. Cut square windows inside the kite and keep the removed square pieces aside for decoration.

Paint the Pieces
Paint the kite frame and the square pieces in bright colours using YUDU Poster Colours. Leave all the painted pieces aside until they are completely dry.

Decorate the Squares
Stick a mirror piece at the centre of each painted square using Fevicol MR. Add colourful painted dots around each mirror to create simple decorative patterns.

Assemble the Kite
Arrange the decorated squares back into their matching spaces and stick them securely using Fevicol MR. Leave the decorative corner openings as shown.

Prepare the Tassels
Thread wooden beads onto cotton cords and tie tassels at the ends. Prepare all the hanging decorations before attaching them to the kite.

Complete the Decoration
Attach the tassel decorations to the sides and bottom of the kite using Fevicol MR. Your colourful Makar Sankranti cardboard kite décor is now ready to display!
