Cut the base parts

Measure and cut six square panels for the box and several circular shapes for the lock mechanism.

Create the lock

Take the paper straw and cut it, stack the cardboard circles to create the turning handle and internal locking bar.

Make the front door

Take the front side of the box, cut a square shape in the center. On the left side, stick a paper strip and attach the lock to make it a front door. Stick the candy stick in the center of the knob with Fevicol MR.

Build the box

Cut all the 5 sides and the front door and stick them together with Fevicol MR edge to edge.Use a scissor or cutter to cut a precise coin slit on the top panel.

Paint the Box

Paint the full box using YUDU Poster Colours; use contrasting shades for the safe door.

Make the character

Stick triangles on top for ears, add large googly eyes with Fevicol MR to give your piggy bank a cute look!

Final Look

Your cute piggy bank is ready to deposit coins through the top slot and collect your savings!
