Collect the Materials

Gather the materials: yellow ribbon, a white circular base, pencil shavings, and a yellow button. Ensure the base is sturdy enough to hold the decorations.

Prepare the Base

Apply Fevicol MR glue to the white circular base and stick the pencil shavings in a circular pattern to form a flower. Press gently to secure them.

Decorate the Flower

Paint the pencil shaving petals and let them dry. Glue two equal ribbon pieces to the back, leaving enough length to tie the Rakhi.

Attach Ribbon for Tying

Glue the yellow button at the center of the rakhi and let it dry completely before use or gifting.

Final Look

Your Rakhi is ready to be worn!
