Create a Patterned Neighbourhood Craft | Step-by-Step Activity - Activity Single - FeviCreate
My Patterned Neighbourhood
Neighbourhoods are thoughtfully designed spaces that support how we live, work, and play. From homes and parks to schools and shops, every part of a community has a role. In this project, students will design their own patterned neighbourhood using bright colours, geometric shapes, repeated patterns, and stacked forms.

1. Explore the Idea of a Neighbourhood
Show students pictures or short videos of different neighbourhoods. Explain that students will design their own vibrant, patterned neighbourhood.
2. Create the Building Blocks
Use YUDU Gel Crayons to sketch and colour in buildings and homes. Cut and arrange rectangles and squares for walls. Add triangles, arches, and domes for rooftops and windows. Decorate each building with patterns.
3. Build Your Neighbourhood
Arrange buildings close together to form a community cluster. Add green spaces, doors, pathways, or roads as desired. Carefully glue everything down to form a finished scene.
4. Add Details and Present
Use YUDU Brush Pens to add final details like windows, bricks, doors, name signs, or textures. Give the neighbourhood a creative name.
