Steps to Create this Activity

Step - 01

Take an A3 sized white card paper and divide it into 3 equal parts horizontally.

Step - 02

In one section draw vertical lines on the reverse side for the fringes with a distance of 2 cm in between each line.

Step - 03

Colour the top portion using Rangeela Tempera Colour - Orange and the lower portion using Rangeela Tempera Colour - Green using your finger tips to give a dotted pattern. Refer to the final image.

Step - 04

Cut the fringes using a pair of scissors. Now roll the paper to form a hat and stick the edges using Fevicol Ele.

Step - 05

Take a blue satin ribbon and tie it in the centre of the white portion making a knotted bow to symbolically depict the blue colour of the Indian flag.
