New Year Card
Create a colourful New Year greeting card with a star-shaped peek window and bright decorations. Children will enjoy colouring with gel crayons while developing drawing, cutting and card-making skills to create a festive handmade greeting.

Prepare the Card Base
Fold the black chart paper to form a greeting card. Draw and cut a star-shaped window on the front cover, then cut two narrow strips and a small circular slider piece from the black chart paper.
Draw the Designs
Draw different sizes of stars, a circle and a small greeting tag on white chart paper, following the template.
Colour the Decorations
Colour all the stars, the circle and the greeting tag using YUDU Gel Crayons. Cut out all the coloured shapes neatly.
Make the Sliding Panel
Stick the coloured circle behind the star-shaped window using Fevicol MR. Attach the black strips to the inside of the card to create a sliding guide and fix the slider strip in place.
Decorate the Card Front
Stick the coloured stars onto the front cover using Fevicol MR. Add small coloured dots around the card using YUDU Gel Crayons for a festive look. Add a greeting tag to the sliding strip.
Complete the Card
Check that the slider moves smoothly and reveals the hidden design and greeting. Your colourful New Year Star Peek-a-Boo Card is now ready to share.
