Step - 01
Begin by taking two standard disposable paper cups. These will form the core structure of your dhol.

Step - 02
Apply Fevicol MR generously to the rims of both paper cups. Carefully press them together, rim-to-rim, to adjoin them firmly. This creates the basic barrel shape of the dhol.

Step - 03
Once the glue is dry and the cups are securely joined, it's time to add colour! Paint the entire surface of your joined cups using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour in Mauve 15 (or your chosen shade). Allow it to dry completely.

Step - 04
Assemble your yellow quilling strips. These will be used to create the characteristic criss-cross string pattern seen on a dhol.

Step - 05
Using Fevicol MR, carefully stick the yellow quilling strips onto the painted dhol in a criss-cross manner, mimicking the traditional threads of a dhol. Ensure they are evenly spaced and secure.

Step - 06
Assemble your collection of sequins and small golden embellishments or stones. These will add the final decorative sparkle to your dhol.

Step - 07
Stick the golden embellishments and sequins onto the dhol using Fevicol MR, arranging them artistically along the yellow strips and open spaces. To complete the dhol, use Fevicryl Acrylic Black 02 paint to colour the open ends (mouths) of both cups blackand let it dry.

Step - 08
This is how you can make a beautiful, decorative, and creative dhol for festive occasions or as a unique showpiece.
