Make Your Own Money

People create systems such as money to meet needs and to help communities function. By exploring the features of coins and banknotes, such as symbols, numbers, and images, students learn how currency is used in everyday life. They demonstrate their understanding by designing their own creative forms of money. Through drawing and colouring their own coins and notes, students reflect on value, identity, and the systems that enable a community to work together.

In the middle, students draw something meaningful to them.

4. Include Extra Details

Add a name for the bank, decorative border around the rectangle. Draw smaller images or symbols in the corners. Use YUDU Gel Crayons for bold colour and texture. Blend or shade with YUDU 3-in-1 Colour Pencils to add fine details.
