Prepare the Parachute Base

Take a paper plate and cut it into half. Paint both sides green using Rangeela Tempera Colours and let it dry.

Add Design Details

Paint brown and blue stripes on the plate to create a parachute pattern. Paint the pista shells white and let them dry.

Paint the pista shells white using Rangeela Tempera Colours and let them dry.

Create the Name or Detail

Stick the painted pista shells on the parachute to form letters or designs and stick them neatly using Fevicol Glue Drops.

Prepare the Hero Figure

Take a photo printout of the child and cut it out carefully. Paint the Indian flag on paper and stick it onto the uniform.

Attach the Parachute Strings

Make a small thread loop at the top to hang your craft. Stick pipe cleaners to the bottom left and right edges of the plate using Glue Drops.

Connect the Figure

Attach the other ends of the pipe cleaners to the child’s shoulders. Press gently so, everything sticks firmly. Your Kargil Diwas wall hanging is ready!
