Step - 01

.To create diwali lantern, take two upcycled boxes available. With the help of felt pen and scale draw a rectangle onto one box and two triangles onto the other as shown in the image.

Step - 02

Cut them with the help of paper cutter.

Step - 03

.Using Glue drops assemble the cutouts into a strcture of lantern as shown, using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour white paint the strcture with the help of fine art brushes and let it dry. Make sure to apply two to three coats.

Using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour of your choice paint the strcture with the help of fine art burshes and let it dry.

Step - 05

To cover the cutout windows take gate way sheet draw and cut out the diagram and cover the window using Glue Drops, take some contrast-colored pipe cleaners and outline the structure as shown. Make sure to cut three windows above to insert lights.

Step - 06

To enhance it further, take some mirrors of different sizes & shapes of your choice and stick it onto the borders of the structure using Glue Drops.

Step - 07

.To create strands for the lantern, take an upcycled box avaialbe bigger than the size of the strcture made, draw and cut out strips as shown in the image.

.Using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour white paint the strips with the help of fine art brushes and let it dry. Make sure to applu 2 – 3 coats.

Step - 09

Using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour of your choice paint the strips with the help of fine art brushes and let it dry.

Step - 10

Using Glue Drops, stick the strips below as shown.

Step - 11

Insert Fairy Lights through the structure above as shown in the image and mount it on the wall using Glue Drops. Your handmade Diwali lantern is ready!
