Mount Board Piece Used

Step - 01

To create the Rakhi base, take a piece of mount board and draw two circles in descending sizes as shown in the image.

Cut it out along the outer line with the help of scissors.

Lions Mane Made From Pencil Shavings

Step - 03

To create the lion’s mane, stick pencil shavings using Fevistik Power.

Lions Face Made Form Yellow Colored Felt Sheet

Step - 04

To create the lion’s face, take colored felt sheets of your choice, draw and cut out the contour of the lion's face and its features i.e., eyes, ears, nose referring to the image, or you can create an illustrative lion face of your choice. Using Fevistik Power, assemble the features as shown in the image and let it dry.

Step - 05

Using Fevistik Power, stick the face onto the mane in the center. Now, attach the structure onto any cord of your choice and let it dry. Your handmade Rakhi is ready. Similarly, you can create Rakhi using upcycled materials available.
