Creating DIY Sankranti Box Kite using wooden beads

Step-01

To create a quirky sweet box for Sankranti, take an upcycled box. With the help of paper cutter, cut three sides on the top of it as shown. Using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour White paint the box with the help of fine art brushes and let it dry,

Step-02

Using FEvicryl Acrylic Colour blue and white sponge dab randomly and overlapping all over the box making it look like a sky and let it dry.

To create kite, take Rangeela Creative Clay, take any two colour of your choice, now create slabs with the help of rolling pin, with the help of paper cutter cut out triangle from each slab.

Step-04

Using Fevicol A+, assemble the triangles creating it into a kite , now using Rangeela Creative Clay of your choice create a tail and a thin string and stick it , make sure all the elements are proportionate to each other.

Step-05

Similarly, create different types kites in shapes and size and stick it randomly onto the box using Fevicol A+. Now apply thin layer of Fevicol A+ onto the kites with the help of fine art brushes and let it dry.

Step-06

To create lid holder, stick wooden beads one on the lid and other below to the surface of the box. Now create a tiny loop and stick one side of the bead and let it dry. To enhance create coils from Rangeela Creative Clay of your choice and stick it to strings as shown.
