Raksha Band Pop Up Box Craft Activity by Using Colored Chart Paper and Sheets

Steps to Create this Activity

Step - 01

To create a trinket, take a sheet of corrugated & draw the diagram referring to the template given, to create pop up cube take any coloured chart paper of your choice & draw the diagram referring to the template given.

Step - 02

Cut them with scissors.

Step - 03

Fold the flaps as shown with the help of scale.

Step - 04

Using Fevicol MR, stick both the templates together with the help of extra creased flap given as shown in the image. With the help of barbeque stick poke holes onto both the templates as shown in the centre.

Step - 05

To create popping mechanism, take a rubber band cut it & tie it on the either side through the holes as shown.

Step - 06

Similarly, tie the other rubber band extension on the other end as shown.

Step - 07

Using Fevicol MR, assemble rest of flaps creating it into a cube as shown, now stick contrast-coloured squares onto the cube structure made as shown.

Step - 08

Similarly, following the same procedure, create multiple pop up cubes as shown . To enhance further, write messages for your siblings & stick pictures using Fevicol MR.

Step - 09

Using Fevicol MR assemble trinket cutouts, to create door hinge take a corrugated strip and fold it into half.

Step - 10

Using Fevicol MR, assemble the door as shown. Using Rangeela Tempera Colour of your choice paint the trinket with the help of paint brushes and let it dry.

Step - 11

Using Rangeela Tempera Colour of your choice decorate the box or can create illustration referring to the template given.

Step - 12

To create a door holder, take flower wire insert a wooden bead through it and lock it by twisting the wire around it, similarly, create a loop like structure for bead to pass through as shown.

Step - 13

Attach the holder through the door and the base of trinket.

Step - 14

Stack all cubes into the trinket as shown and check out the pop-up mechanism .
