Kite Fridge Magnet Craft

Craft bright kite-shaped fridge magnets using foam sheets, coloured paper, thread, sequins, and magnet strips. Kids can decorate them with tails and patterns, then stick them on the fridge to add a festive or seasonal look while showing off their art.

Steps to Create this Activity

Step –1

Prepare the Dough - Take Fevicryl Mouldit, resin and hardener and mix them in equal quantities to form an even, smooth dough

Roll the Dough - Place the prepared Mouldit dough on an even surface and use a rolling pin to roll it out to your desired thickness.

Step –3

Cut Kite Shapes - Utilize clay modeling tools or a small cutter to carefully cut out multiple kite shapes from the rolled dough.

Step –4

Paint the Kites - Once the kite shapes are dry, paint them vibrant colors using the Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Pack. Paint the turbans of two kites and third kite with the Janeu and mundu to depict traditional clothing from Tamil Nadu using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours . Let it dry.

Step –5

Add the final touches - Add small details like faces or strings with a fine brush if desired. Take the magnets and stick them behind the kite using Fevicol MR.
