Prepare the Kite Base

Draw a kite shape on the cardboard sheet and carefully cut it out using scissors. Paint the kite using Rangeela Tempera Colours and allow it to dry completely.

Make the Fringes

Cut the coloured crepe paper into strips and snip fine fringes along one edge of each strip using scissors.

Decorate the Kite

Stick the fringed crepe paper strips onto the kite, overlapping them slightly, using Fevistik Power to create colourful layers.

Add the Tail

Stick extra fringed crepe paper strips to the bottom of the kite using Fevistik Power to make a flowing tail.

Finish the Craft

Stick a thread at the top of your kite to hang it. Your colourful Makar Sankranti Kite Wall Hanging is now ready to display.
