Create the Pencil Panels

Take a corrugated sheet and draw the shape of a large pencil on it. This will be the base for your first idiom.

Cut Out the Shapes

Using scissors, carefully cut out the pencil shape. Repeat this process two more times, so you have three identical pencil-shaped panels.

Illustrate the Idioms

Draw the figures that represent different Hindi idioms for each panel. For example, for 'Aankh ka Tara' (Apple of one's eye), you could draw an eye with a star inside it.

Assemble and Colour

Stick your white paper drawings onto each corrugated pencil panel using Fevicol MR. Use your YUDU Brush Pens to colour them.

Prepare for Hanging

Carefully make a hole at the top and bottom of your middle panel, and one hole at the top of your top panel and bottom panel.

Create the Wall Hanging

Take the jute thread and string it on pencil panels together to create a hanging ladder. Tie a loop at the very top so it can be hung on a wall. Your Hindi Diwas idiom learning craft is now ready!
