Sketch the Sky Elements

Gather a brown A-4 sheet, old newspapers, blue paper strips, and scissors. Draw two cloud shapes on the light blue craft paper using your pencil.

Shape Your Newspaper Kites

Cut the newspaper into a kite shape. Use Fevicol MR to glue the blue strips and cutout clouds onto the base to prepare your layout for messages.

Write the Festive Messages

Use white Rangeela Tempera paint to write your festive holiday message on the blue strips. Paint the newspaper kites using bright, vibrant colours.

Assemble the Card Inside

Glue your painted festive kites and clouds neatly inside the brown greeting card base. Add custom handwritten Makar Sankranti wishes to complete the scene.

The Finished Festive Card

Your beautiful, handmade newspaper-upcycled Makar Sankranti greeting card is now complete! Share this vibrant, sky-themed creation with family and friends.
