Steps to Create this Activity

Step - 01

Start with the base - In keeping with Gandhiji's principles of see no evil, hear no evil, and say no evil, we are metaphorically making the monkeys that signify those ideologies.

Step - 02

Procure the materials - Take 3 empty tissue rolls, sponge dab them in Rangeela Pastel Colours of your choice. Leave them to dry.

Step - 03

Trace the design - Trace the 3 monkeys in the three varied postures on a white card paper. Make sure the faces and hands of the monkeys are drawn separately as we will be assembling them later after being painted.

Step - 04

Paint the design - Paint the faces with features and the hands of the monkeys appropriately. For the base colour i.e., to make brown, mix green and red in equal proportion. To make the brown shade lighter, you can add whiter. The more white you add, the lighter the shade becomes. Paint the base of the three monkeys. You can pick a thinner brush or marker to make the features of the monkeys, like eyes, hands, and lips. Leave it to dry completely.

Step - 05

Finishing touches & Final Look - Once dried, stick each monkey with three postures on each of the three tissue rolls using Fevistik Power.
