Prepare the Base
Cut a large circle from corrugated cardboard. Draw a circle in the centre and sketch geometric patterns around it. Paint the centre circle and the surrounding pattern using Rangeela Tempera Metallic Colours. Allow it to dry completely.

Mark the Footprints
Draw a pair of footprints inside the painted circle. Paint the background neatly, leaving the footprint shapes ready for the paper mache work.

Make the Paper Mache
Tear tissue paper into small pieces and mix it with Fevicol MR and red colour to prepare a thick paper mache paste. Knead the mixture well until it becomes smooth.

Shape the Footprints
Apply the prepared paper mache onto the drawn footprints and toes. Press and shape the mixture carefully to create raised textured footprints. Allow it to dry completely.

Decorate and Finish
Stick pearl beads around the inner circle using Fevicol MR. Paint the border with a pattern of your choice. Stick some mirrors using Fevicol MR. Your colourful Navratri Footprint Art Using Paper Mache is now ready to display!
