Create the Base

On a corrugated sheet, use a pencil to draw a flower vase shape. Cut two identical vase shapes. Cut two paper straws to match the height of the main body of your vase cutouts.

Build the 3D Frame

Take one of the vase cutouts. Apply Fevicol MR along the outer vertical edges and stick the two cut paper straws onto it. This creates the space for flower stems.

Paint the Vase

Stick the second vase cutout on top to create a 3D vase structure with Fevicol MR. Paint the entire vase with Rangeela Tempera Pastel Colours and let it dry.

Add a Loving Message

After the paint is completely dry, use a fine tip brush or a marker. Neatly write ‘LOVE YOU MOM’ on the front of the vase to personalize your gift.

Craft the Paper Flowers

Take colourful papers and cut out multiple flower shapes. Take a few thick flower-making wires and paint them. Let the painted straw dry completely.

Assemble the Flowers

Take your dried, painted straw stems. Apply a dot of Fevicol MR to the top of each wire. Press a paper flower cutout onto the glue, creating your colourful blooms.

Decorate the Vase

Take the jute thread and wrap it around the narrow neck of the vase, securing it with Fevicol MR. You can write a small message on the Post-it note and stick it.

Arrange Your Bouquet

Gather all your completed paper flowers. Carefully slide them one by one into the opening at the top of your 3D vase, arranging them into a beautiful bouquet.

Final Look

Your thoughtful, handmade Mother's Day flower vase is now complete.
