Easy to Make Piggy Bank Craft Ideas for Kids

Steps to Create this Activity

Step - 01
To create globe piggy bank, take a plastic ball available, apply a layer of newspaper using the mixture of Fevicol MR and Water.
Step - 02
Similarly, create two hemispheres following the same procedure. Peel it off from the plastic ball once it's completely dry.
Step - 03
Using paper cutter, create a window to take out Coins's and give a slit above in the centre of hemisphere for inserting coins through it.
Step - 04
Using Fevicol MR, assemble both the hemispheres with the help of newspaper strip and Fevicol MR as shown in the image.
Step - 05
To create features and element I.e., hands, legs and dumbbell, take a corrugated sheet, and draw the diagram referring to template given. Make sure features drawn are proportionate to the globe made.
Step - 06
Cut them with scissors.
Step - 07
To create width between the features, cut out corrugated strips, few measuring width of 2” approximately and few measuring width of 1cm approximately.
Step - 08
Using Fevicol MR, stick strips between the features I.e., hands and legs as shown in the image.
Step - 09
Using Rangeela Tempera Colour of your choice, paint the features and elements with the help of fine art brushes and let it dry.
Step - 10
To create dumbbell, you will circularly cut out and a strip with width of 1cm approximately.
Step - 11
Using Fevicol MR, assemble the elements as shown in the image and let it dry.
Step - 12
Using Rangeela Tempera Colour of your choice paint the dumbbell with the help of fine art brushes and let it dry. With the help of pencil poke a hole in the centre of dumbbell structures created. To create dumbbell holder, you will need a pipe cleaner.
Step - 13
Using Fevicol MR, assemble features I.e., hands and legs. With the help of pencil poke hole in the centre of the hand above as shown in the image, now insert pipe cleaner through and attach dumbbell structure as shown and stick it using Fevicol MR . Your personalised tabletop piggy bank is ready.
