Step -5
Cover the straws - Take the orange kite paper and cut it using scissors, stick it in the gaps between the straws using Fevicol MR. Take the white plain paper, draw a circular shape and cut it using scissors. Stick the white circular cutout in the middle of the two diyas using Fevicol MR. Make sure that the circular cutout is on top of the diya.

Step - 1
Procure the base - Let us make a sustainable lantern for Diwali. Let us take a corrugated sheet. With pencil, draw two equal sizes diyas. Take scissors and cut them.

Step – 2
Take 10 paper straws and cut the paper straws to shorten them. Apply Fevicol MR on the edges of the paper straws and stick them on the corners of the diya cutout. Make sure it sticks perfectly on all the edges.

Step - 3
Trace the design - Take a pencil and trace the design on the diya. You can trace any geometrical design as per your choice.

Step - 4
Paint the design - Take the Fevicryl Carnival Pack and paint the design with vibrant shades of colours. You can double coat the colour to make it look much brighter and more solid.

Step -5
