DIY – Water Drop Lamp

Steps to Create this Activity

Step - 01

To create a drop shape lamp,take a balloon blow into drop like shape. Now cover it with thin white plastic and tie with the help of any cord.

Step - 02

Using Fevicol A+ apply thick layer with the help of fine art brushes and let it dry

Step - 03

Once dried, take out the balloon as shown.

Step - 04

To create tap structure, take a sheet of corrugated and draw the diagram of tap proportionate to drop made. Make sure to two symmetrical taps

Step - 05

Cut the with paper cutter. Now make sure to draw and cut details of tap as well and stick using Fevicol A+ as shown

Step - 06

For the lights to be inserted, take corrugated sheet cut-out the contour and create path as shown for the light and wire to pass.

Step - 07

Cut them with paper cutter. Using Fevicol A+ stick the path created in one of the tap shape and let it dry

Step - 08

Using Fevicyl Acrylic Colour of your choice paint the tap with help of fine art brushes and let it dry

Step - 09

Using Adhesive tape, stick drop structure, now insert fairy lights into the structure and adjusting the rest in between the path created.

Step - 10

Using Fevicol A+, assemble the other cut out as shown and let it dry. To make the lamp holder, take a piece of mount board or any stiff board, make a slit according to the tap width and insert the end of the tap through it and stick it using Fevicol A+ and let it dry. Yu can mount the tap lamp on any wall
