Step - 01

To create a trinket, you will need an upcycled corrugated box, as shown in the image. To create a partition inside the box, take a corrugated box and cut out rectangles as shown in the image. Make sure cut-outs are proportionate to the box.

Step - 02

Insert the partition as shown and stick it using Fevicol A+ and let it dry.

Step - 03

Using Rangeela Tempera Colour of your choice, paint it using Fine Art brushes and let it dry.

Once dried, using Rangeela Tempera Colour white, paint Madhubani patterns around the box as shown using Fine Art brushes; let it dry.

Step - 05

To decorate the lid of the box, take any four coloured chart papers. Referring to the measurements of the lid, divide it into four equal cut-outs using a different coloured chart paper. Take black coloured quilling strip and stick it as a border on each cut-out using Fevicol A+; let it dry. Referring to the template given, draw Madhubani motifs onto each cut-out with a pencil.

Using Rangeela Tempera Colour White, fill up the motif as shown with a Fine Art brushes and let it dry.

Step - 07

Using Rangeela Tempera Colour black, add an outline to the motif as shown in the image with Fine Art brushes and let it dry.

Step - 08

Similarly, follow the same process for the rest of the chart paper cut-outs.

Step - 09

Using Fevicol A+, stick the cut-outs onto the lid as shown and let it dry.Your handmade Madhubani Trinket is ready!
