Step - 01
Take any upcycled corrugated box available. Using a paper cutter, cut out the box as a house contour, as shown in the image. Now on another corrugated sheet (refer to template for size of box), create the roof. On the roof, draw the diagram of a house chimney. Stick the roof onto the house structure using Fevistik Power and let it dry. To create a tissue holder, create a door on either side using a paper cutter, as shown. To create a doorknob, poke a hole in the centre, as shown .
Step - 03
Insert the knob through the door hole and lock it by spiralling it around, as shown in the image. Using a paper cutter, cut out any three sides of the chimney creating a door-like structure for tissue paper to pass through. On a white chart paper, draw and cut out a diagram of snow and stick it onto the roof using Fevistik Power. Let this dry.
Step - 05
To decorate the gingerbread house, create elements like window and door using materials like foam, chart paper, paper straw, pom pom. Stick these elements using Fevistik Power, and let dry. Make sure the elements drawn are proportionate to the house size. To enhance further, draw a design around the elements using a pencil (refer to image).
Step - 06
To add more detailing to the house, using Fevistik Power, create other elements like windows on the sides, and a wreath on the door using foam sheets, candy sticks and chart papers. You can also stick buttons or ornamental stones, as shown. Using Rangeela Tempera Colours, outline the rest of the design using Fine Art brushes. To enhance further, use Rangeela Paper Glitter to give an outline to the elements (windows and door). Let this dry. our Gingerbread House Tissue Holder is ready!
