Upcycled Box Used With Rectangles Drawn on It for Making DIY Colour Game

Step - 01

To create the game - spot the colour, take an upcycled box. Now draw rectangles randomly as shown with the width of 2cm approx.

Step - 02

Cut them with paper cutter. To create a lid cut the front template from three to look like a drawer.

Using Fevicryl Acrylic colour of your choice paint the box with the help of a sponge and let it dry. Make sure to paint the inside of the box too.

To make coloured framed to each rectangle, take Rangeela creative clay of your choice, create thin coils with the help of your hands and stick it as a border to each rectangle cut out using Fevicol A+. Now write the text onto the side “SPOT THE COLOUR”

To create a box holder, stick a piece of Velcro one side to the lid and other to base using Fevicol A+.

To create colourful elements, I.e. fruits and vegetables, take a corrugated sheet create a grid of sqaure measuring 2” approx. And cut them with scissors.

Using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours of your choice paint the cut outs and let it dry. Now draw the diagram of your favourite fruit or vegetables onto each out with the help of the pencil.

Now fill the drawing using Rangeela Creative Clay, by creating a slab with the help of rolling pin trace the diagram onto it with the help of pencil, now cut it with the help of clay tool or paper cutter and stick it using Fevicol A+. Once done, apply a thin layer of Fevicol A+ onto the element created and let it dry.

Step - 09

Similarly, following the same process create other fruits and vegetables. Personalised game for spotting the colours is ready! To play this you need to slide the cut out through its respective coloured framed.
