DIY Wind Turbine Activity for Kids

Steps to Create this Activity

Step - 01

To make the model for the Speed of Wind, we will require six paper cups

Step - 02

Paint it with Fevicryl Acrylic Colours of your choice

Step - 03

Stick quilling strips around the lower and upper sides of the paper cups with Fevicol MR

Step - 04

Take a paper cup, make a hole on the back side of the cup with a pencil. Then, gently push the paper straw in it.

Step - 05

Make a small quilling strip bead as shown above

Step - 06

Insert another cup in it and then stick the quilling strip bead with Fevicol MR

Step - 07

Insert the barbecue sticks into the cups such that they are perpendicular to each other

Step - 08

Then insert the other cups as shown into the barbecue sticks. Our Speed of Wind Model is ready!
