Learn How to Make Republic Day Tableau Fevicreate

Steps to Create this Activity

Step - 01

To create a tableau for Republic Day, take four upcycled corrugated boxes available. Make sure to arrange boxes of similar sizes as shown in the image.

Step - 02

Cover the corrugated boxes with chart papers using Fevicol A+ and let them dry.

Step - 03

Using Fevicol A+, assemble the boxes as shown in the image to create a stage-like structure.

Step -04

Take colored kite paper red referring to the image, create a frill with the help of your hands. Using Fevicol A+, stick the edges of the folds on one another, as shown in the image.

Step - 05

Using Fevicol A+, stick frill strips covering the edges of the stage made.

Step - 06

To create figurines, take the corrugated sheet, and draw and cut out the diagram of a figure on it referring to the template given. Using Rangeela Creative Clay, roll slabs of the respective colours and stick them on the corrugated sheet to create the figurine as shown in the image.

Step - 07

Similarly, create the other figurines following the same technique.

Step - 08

To create the placard, take a corrugated sheet. Write the text “HAPPY REPUBLIC DAY” with the font of your choice or refer to the template. Using Rangeela Tempera Colour paint the background with the help of fine art colours as shown in the image.

Step - 09

Using the Rangeela Creative Clay of your choice, fill in the letters as shown.

Step - 10

To create a holder for figurines, take a corrugated sheet, cut out strips with a width of 1cm and fold it into a triangular structure. Stick the edges using Fevicol A+ and stick it behind them figurines.

Step - 11

To create grass, take green chart paper proportionate to the box size and cut out a strip with a width of 1” approx. Draw and cut out the diagram of grass as shown in the image and fold a flap as shown.

Step - 12

Make sure all the elements are ready, I.e., placard, grass, figurines, any cord measuring to the stage size, and a printed backdrop measuring to the stage size.

Step - 13

Using Fevicol A+, stick all the elements referring to the image. Handmade tableau for Republic Day is ready!
