Steps to Create this Activity

Circle Drawn on Cardboard Sheet

Step - 01

To create plate wall décor, take corrugated sheet and draw a circle with radius of 8cm approx. With the help of compass.

Cut Outs Made of Cardboard Sheet

Step - 02

Cut them with scissors.

Fish Image Template Used

Step - 03

Referring to the template given, trace the diagram of fish onto gateway sheet. Make sure diagram drawn is proportionate to corrugated cut out.

Shape Made Using Rangeela Clay

Step - 04

To create fish, take Rangeela Creative Clay of your choice, create clay slabs with the help of rolling pin, now on each coloured slab emboss the feature by keeping gateway sheet onto the slab and tracing out lines using pencil. Cut it with the help of clay tool or paper cutter as shown in the image.

Cut Outs Assembled Together of Clay Fish

Step - 05

Assemble the cut outs as shown. For the durability and freshness of the colours apply a layer of Fevicol MR with the help of fine art brushes and let it dry.

Cardboard Circle Painted White for Base Coat

Step - 06

Using Rangeela Tempera Colour white paint the base with the help of fine art brushes and let it dry.

Blue Color Painted on Cardboard Circle

Step - 07

Using Rangeela Tempera Colour of your choice paint the base with the help of fine art brushes and let it dry.

Clay Fish Stuck on Cardboard Using Fevicol Glue Elements Assembled Using Glue, DIY Plates Wall Decor Is Completed

Step - 08

Using Fevicol MR stick the fish onto the base as shown in the image and let it dry.

Elements Assembled Using Glue, DIY Plates Wall Decor Is Completed

Similarly, you can create plates of different sizes with different elements on it of your choice. Using Glue drops you can stick the plates to the wall. Handcrafted Plates wall décor is ready!
