DIY Paper Weight Craft for Kids

Steps to Create this Activity

Step - 01

To create flower from Rangeela Creative Clay, create dough of orange and white coloured clay. Make sure to take orange coloured clay in an ample amount compared to white coloured clay as shown in the image

Step - 02

With the help of rolling pin create thin layered circular slab as shown.

Step - 03

Now place orange coloured clay dough in the centre as shown.

Step - 04

Now seal with white colour clay as shown

Step - 05

Now with the help of scissors, cut out fringes from the edges of circle following it inwards to the centre as shown.

Step - 06

To create the base, take sheet of mount board draw and cut the circle measuring it into 4” of diameter approx.

Step - 07

Take Coloured chart paper blue, draw and cut the circle of same size as mount board and stick it using Fevicol A+ and let it dry.

Step - 08

To create leaves, take coloured chart paper green, draw and cut out contour of leaf measuring 2” approx.

Step - 09

Fold it into half and fan fold them as shown.

Step - 10

Leaves are ready

Step - 11

Using Fevicol A+, assemble all the elements as shown and let it dry, apply a thin layer of Fevicol A+ onto the flower made with the help of fine art brushes. Handmade paper weight is ready
