DIY Paper Weight Craft for Kids

Steps to Create this Activity

Step - 01

To make Paper Mache pulp, take newspapers and cut them into small pieces. Now take a bowl and make a mixture of newspaper pieces and Fevicol A+. Make sure to mix it well until you get thick glue-like consistency as shown. Now keep the mixture for 24 hours for pulp to form properly .

Step - 02

Now form a pebble like shape with the help of hands, to create paper weight and let it dry.

Step - 03

Now take any coloured chart paper draw and cut out any element of your choice, here we have taken elephant. Make sure element draw is proportion to pebble made.

Step - 04

Using Rangeela tempera colour white trace an out line of an element with the help of cut out .

Step - 05

Now fill the contour design using Rangeela Tempera colour white with the help of fine art brushes and let it dry.

Step - 06

Using Rangeela Tempera Colour Fill up the colour of your choice and let it dry. Handmade paperweight is ready
