Steps to Create this Activity

Brown paper for creating a paper puppet

Step - 01

To create a hand puppet, use a brown paper bag

Border outline of the character from Ramayana

Step - 02

To create face of Ram, take coloured chart papers and draw the diagram referring to the template given with the help of pencil

Step - 03

Similarly, to draw features of Ram, take coloured chart papers of your choice and draw the diagram referring to the template given with the help of pencil.

Cut outs of the character for paper bag puppet

Step - 04

Cut them with scissors

Bind together using Fevicol MR after painting with acrylic colours

Step - 05

Using Fevicol MR, assemble the cut outs as shown. And let it dry.

Stick the chart paper to the paper bag to get a puppet

Using Fevicol MR, stick the rectangle cut-out onto the brown paper bag and let it dry
