Prepare the Pieces
Cut out the lantern frame, side strips, Durga face circles, and trident shapes from thick white card paper. Cover the tridents with silver foam sheet and colour the Durga faces using Fevicryl Acrylic Markers.

Make the Frames
Fold the frame pieces along the marked lines to form two square frames. Stick the folded flaps securely using Fevistik Power.

Assemble the Lantern
Join the two square frames using the four side strips to create the lantern structure. Secure all the joints neatly using Fevistik Power.

Add the Side Panels and Decorate
Cut the orange kite paper to size and stick it inside each side of the lantern using Fevistik Power. Stick the Durga face and trident cut-outs onto alternate sides. Make small hanging loops with Fevicryl Mouldit and fix them to the top of the lantern.

Finish the Lantern
Thread the silver thread through the loops and tie it securely for hanging. Your colourful Navratri lantern is now ready to display!
