DIY Holi Photo Frame

Create a colourful Holi-themed name board using a corrugated cardboard frame, painted Holi cut-outs and a photograph. Children will develop painting and crafting skills while designing a festive keepsake to decorate their room or gift to family and friends.

Draw the Frame

Draw a wavy rectangular frame with a photo window on a corrugated cardboard sheet using a pencil.Draw a wavy rectangular frame with a photo window on a corrugated cardboard sheet using a pencil.

Cut the Cardboard Pieces

Cut out the outer frame and the centre window carefully. Cut another matching corrugated cardboard piece to make the back support.

Assemble the Frame

Join the front frame and the back support using Fevicol MR , leaving the photo opening clear. Press gently until the pieces are secure.

Paint the Frame

Paint the assembled corrugated frame using Rangeela Tempera Colours. Set it aside until the paint dries completely.

Prepare the Decorations

Draw the Holi-themed designs on white card paper. Paint them using Rangeela Tempera Colours and cut out each design neatly.

Add the Photograph

Place the photograph behind the frame opening and secure it to the back support using Fevicol MR.

Decorate the Name Board

Arrange the painted Holi cut-outs around the frame and stick them using Fevicol MR. Add the "Happy Holi" title at the top to complete your colourful Holi Name Board.
