Steps to Create this Activity

Draw the Design

Draw a Holi-themed design with pichkaris, colour splashes, balloons, pots, and the greeting "Happy Holi" on the ivory colour chart paper, leaving a border at the top and bottom.

Colour the Artwork

Use YUDU Brush Pens to colour the entire Holi design with bright festive shades and allow the colours to dry completely.

Prepare the Lamp Parts

Cut out one circle from the pink colour chart paper and one circle from the corrugated cardboard. Cut two long strips from the pink chart paper for the top and bottom borders.

Assemble the Lamp

Roll the decorated chart paper into a cylinder and stick the overlapping edge neatly using Fevicol MR. Stick the pink strips around the top and bottom edges. Stick the pink chart paper circle over the corrugated cardboard circle.

Add the Light

Place the paper cylinder onto the base. Place an LED tealight candle inside the lamp and switch it on to create a warm festive glow. Your colourful Holi-themed lamp is now ready to display!
