Prepare the base

Take two corrugated cardboard sheets. Cut out a small window. Use the other corrugated sheet to create a border for the window sheet, which could be 1 inch thick.

Creating the Channel

Cut two thin strips and one broad strip from the corrugated sheet. These strips act as spacers to create a gap for the paper slider to move.

Prepare the background

Take the thick strip and stick Fevicol MR and apply on the borders to create space for the strip to move. Let it dry.

Paint and Stick the Frame

Paint the bottom Corrugated sheet in dark grey using Rangeela Tempera Pastel Colours. Stick the painted border frame onto the front of the painted chalkboard base using Fevicol MR.

Creating Letter Strips

Take a long paper strip that fits the chalkboard channel. Draw small blocks on it, paint them, and write different Hindi consonants (व्यंजन) in each block using Rangeela Tempera Pastel Colours.

Insert the strip

Paste the single letter square using Fevicol MR. Slide the long painted letter strip from the side into the gap between the cardboard layers. Your chalkboard craft is now ready!
