DIY Hanging Lamp Craft for Students

Steps to Create this Activity

Step - 01

To create lamp, take a balloon. Now make a mixture of Fevicol A+ and water, with the help of mixture made stick tissue papers around the balloon as shown, make sure to apply 2-3 layers approx. And let it dry

Step - 02

Once dried, peel the tissue layer it off. Now with the help of pencil make marking as shown to create proper hemisphere.

Step - 03

Cut the extra part with the help of scissors. Now draw Indian art pattern or design of your choice onto it with the help of pencil. Here we have made kalamkari art.

Step - 04

Make sure design drawn is in symmetry.

Step - 05

Using Rangeela Tempera Colours of your choice, paint the lamp with the help of fine art brushes and let it dry. Now with help of felt pen give an outline to design as shown.

Step - 06

Using scissors poke hole in the centre of lamp as shown to create holder.

Step - 07

Insert bulb wire through the center and attach bulb to it as shown. Handmade lamp is ready!
