Steps to Create this Activity

Draw and Cut the Template

Draw and cut the gift box template on white card paper. Cut two flame shapes from the orange corrugated sheet and one smaller flame from the yellow foam sheet.

Fold the Gift Box

Fold along the marked lines and stick the side flaps using Fevicol MR to form the gift box.

Paint the Gift Box

Paint the outside of the gift box using Rangeela Tempera Metallic Colours and allow it to dry completely.

Make the Diya Flame

Stick the yellow foam flame onto the orange corrugated flame using Fevicol MR, then add the decorative stone at the bottom. Stick the mirror and decorative embellishments onto the front of the gift box using Fevicol MR.

Attach the Flame

Fix the completed diya flame inside the back of the gift box using Fevicol MR so it stands above the opening. Allow the craft to dry completely before using it for gifting. Your festive DIY Diwali Gift Box is now ready.
